Your First Visit
Please arrive about 10 minutes early so that you have enough time to fill out a New Patient form and X-ray Release form. To save some time, you can download and complete both forms ahead of your appointment.
Initial Examination
Your first appointment is a New Patient Exam (NPE) conducted by a dentist and an assistant. This examination lasts about an hour. The dentist will review your medical and dental history, perform a complete exam of your gums, teeth, bite, and jaw, and include an oral cancer screening and any necessary X-rays.
Treatment Plan
Your dentist will create a long-term dental treatment plan based on your history and exam, and will answer any questions about your dental health and options.
Insurance & Payment
At Laurelwood Family Dentistry, we want to help make your dental experience as smooth as possible.
We will do our best to guide you through your payment and insurance choices, allowing you to concentrate on what truly matters: restoring your oral health and reaching your dental goals.
Insurance Claims
For your convenience, we are able to bill most insurance companies directly. Our administrative team is also happy to assist you if you need help completing any paperwork or understanding your insurance plan more thoroughly.
Payment Methods
The full cost of your dental services and treatment must be paid at the time of your appointment. At Laurelwood Family Dentistry, we are able to accept payment by debit, Visa and Mastercard.
Support for Anxious Patients
Dental anxiety is common among many people, but don't let it hold you back from the oral health care you deserve.
